Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Finance the number of appeals lodged by persons refused a primary medical certificate to the Disabled Drivers Board of Appeal in the past five years, by county; the number of these appeals which were successful; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by the Disabled Drivers Medical Board of Appeal that the total number of appeals lodged and the number of successful appeals in the period 2013-2017 is as set out in the table. However the Board do not have a breakdown of these figures by county.
