Deputy Lisa Chambers asked the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 288 of 25 October 2017 and 568 of 12 December 2017, the status of the Reserve Defence Force lieutenant to captain fixed promotion scheme (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. As I outlined in my recent reply the Lieutenant to Captain promotions in the RDF, referred to by the Deputy, are being processed. I anticipate that they will be completed in the near future.
