Rapid Access Clinics for patients with suspected prostate cancer have been established in each of the eight designated cancer centres. The national target is that 90% of all prostate cancer patients are offered an appointment within 20 working days of the receipt of the referral letter.
In December 2017, the most recent figures available, 77% of patients were seen within 20 working days. The number of patients who waited longer than 20 working days in each designated cancer centre are set out below.
