Ceisteanna (199)

Bríd Smith

199. Deputy Bríd Smith asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason Dublin Bus has removed its city centre discount fare; if this decision was made by Dublin Bus or by the National Transport Authority; if he was notified of this move; the way in which such a step is in keeping with stated policy of encouraging persons to use public transport especially in city centre areas suffering from heavy congestion; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
