88. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Justice and Equality when the case of a person (details supplied) will be dealt with by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10451/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal administers the Scheme of Compensation for Personal Injuries Criminally Inflicted on Prison Officers. Under the terms of the Scheme, the Tribunal is entirely independent in the matter of individual decisions on applications for compensation under the Scheme. The Deputy will appreciate that in these circumstances I cannot comment on individual cases.
