Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his attention has been drawn to the concerns of parents regarding the safety implications of the outstanding work to remove derelict prefabricated buildings from a school (details supplied) in Dublin 15; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that the Department is committed to removing the prefabs from the site in question.  In that context, the relevant ETB has agreed to manage this project. In that regard, once the scope of works required is finalised, the matter will be expedited.
