Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the occasions on which a pharmaceutical company has successfully sought to increase the price charged to the HSE for a product by more than 20% in each of the years 2014 to 2017 and to date in 2018; the product involved; the reason given by the company for seeking the price increase; and the overall annual increase in the cost of the drug to the HSE resultant from such an increase in tabular form.
