1447. Deputy Pat Breen asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when an application by a person (details supplied) will be processed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [16079/18]

An application for Domiciliary Care Allowance (DCA) was received from this lady on the 15th February 2018. Applications received in late January and early February 2018 are currently being finalised. This application will be considered by a deciding officer and the decision notified as soon as possible.

I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
