279. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if he will include a review of domestic and sexual violence data collection and analysis by State services in the SAVI II report. [17697/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy is aware, the Scoping Group was established to consider the availability of data and make recommendations on a study to identify the prevalence of sexual abuse and violence in Ireland today and emerging trends. The terms of reference for the group are published on my Department's website. The Group met for the final time on April 9th. Significant progress has been made and I expect to bring proposals to Government in relation to this matter in the coming weeks.
