Deputy Brian Stanley asked the Minister for Health the average waiting time for an insulin pump at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise for persons with type 1 diabetes; the average waiting time across the health service for same; the number of persons on the list for a pump at the hospital; and the number under 18 years of age waiting on the pump at the hospital in tabular form [19894/18]

Under the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for the administration of the community drug schemes; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
