Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government the actions taken in each of the years 2015 to 2017, and to date in 2018, to ensure Ireland has a planning system that is fit for purpose for data centre investment projects in view of confirmation that a company (details supplied) will not proceed with a data centre investment in Athenry, County Galway and delays in the planning approval process.
