Deputy Lisa Chambers asked the Minister for Health the number of women who have had a transvaginal mesh implanted; the number who have suffered complications in connection with this mesh; the number who have had the transvaginal mesh removed both here and in another jurisdiction under the treatment abroad scheme; the number who are waiting to have the mesh removed in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
