Deputy Imelda Munster asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the allocation to an organisation (details supplied) in each of the years 2016, 2017 and 2018; and the breakdown of the distributions of the funding to sports bodies and each of their associated allocations in each of those years. Sport Ireland is the statutory body with responsibility for the promotion, development and co-ordination of sport, including responsibility for the allocation of funding to the National Governing Bodies of sport. I have referred the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for direct reply in relation to the allocation of funding to sporting bodies for 2016, 2017 and 2018. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within ten days.
