Amharc ar fhreagraWhile responsibility for employment rights policy and legislation transferred to my Department pursuant to the transfer of functions that took effect in September 2017, responsibility for the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), the statutory authority responsible for ensuring compliance with employment rights legislation, did not transfer across. The WRC continues to operate under the aegis of the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy’s question to the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation for her attention.
