Deputy Dessie Ellis asked the Minister for Health the number of children between 12 and 16 years of age who have had eye care provided by the HSE reduced or stopped; the reason for their treatment being reduced or stopped; the number of children in this cohort who previously received vouchers for the purchase of new glasses and will no longer receive such vouchers; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
