178. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Justice and Equality when the policy change in relation to speed limit vans on motorways (details supplied) was changed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [40985/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy will appreciate that I have no role in relation to road traffic enforcement, which is an operational matter appropriate to the Garda Commissioner. I have requested a report from An Garda Síochána in relation to the matter referred to by the Deputy, and I will be in contact again with the Deputy on receipt of a Garda report.
