238. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when an illness benefit payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [41338/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe claim from the person concerned has been processed and he has received his full entitlements under the Illness Benefit Scheme and any/all arrears owing to him have been paid. A final certificate of illness was received on 30th of September and the claim is now closed.
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
