304. Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will receive a payment following an oral hearing. [43985/18]

Following a successful appeal, this lady has been awarded disability allowance (DA) with effect from 15 November 2017. The first payment will be made on 24 October 2018.

Arrears of payment due, will issue as soon as possible once any necessary adjustment is calculated and applied in respect of any overlapping payments or in respect of outstanding overpayments (if applicable).

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
