1046. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when an illness benefit arrears payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [44901/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraIllness Benefit (IB) arrears for the person concerned have been paid. The claim is now closed.
If the person remains ill and unfit for work, they should submit a further IB application and medical certs to the Department as soon as possible to enable future payments to be made.
