1078. Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection to outline the reason for the delay in issuing a weekly illness benefit payment to a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45209/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Illness Benefit claim for the person concerned is paid up to date.
She is currently certified until 5th November 2018. If she remains ill and unfit for work, a further medical certificate should be forwarded to the Department as soon as possible in order for payment to continue to issue.
