1080. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection to outline the status of an illness benefit application by a person (details supplied); when arrears will be issued in this case; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45214/18]

The payment issue with the Illness Benefit claim for the person concerned has now been resolved and all arrears due have been issued. Normalised payments should now resume. The customer is certified until 12th December 2018.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
