Under the terms of the Illness Benefit scheme administered by my Department, patients can be certified for up to 26 weeks, depending on the nature of the person’s illness.
One of my officials will contact the customer concerned to discuss her pattern of medical certification.
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
