Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the costs incurred to date in a High Court and Court of Appeal case against the Information Commissioner and a person (details supplied) regarding the 2009 municipal area network concession agreement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Any legal costs to date have been incurred by the Chief State Solicitor's Office. Legal costs were awarded against the Department in the High Court action. These costs form part of an appeal to the Court of Appeal, which has  yet to be determined.
