161. Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number of public sector staff from his Department seconded to work in the public sector in other EU member states; the schemes available for such secondments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. While my Department currently has two members of staff on secondment to the European Commission, there are no staff on secondment to public service bodies in other Member States. Posts for the Commission are advertised by the Commission.
