Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the number of public sector staff from his Department seconded to work in the public sector in other EU member states; the schemes available for such secondments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department of Rural and Community Development was established on 19th July 2017 to provide a renewed and consolidated focus on rural and community development in Ireland.
I can confirm that my Department has no staff seconded to work in other EU member states' public sector. There is no specific scheme available in the Department for such secondments.
