No significant organised deer cull has taken place in Glenveagh National Park in the years 2016/2017 or 2018 to date.

A small number have been culled between the time period 2016-2018 when deer were found to be causing major damage to the Castle gardens or Bridge House area.

Trained, experienced and dedicated NPWS staff carried out those culls in a professional manner and carcasses were disposed of appropriately. The culling was authorised.
