447. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if consideration has been given to introducing contactless payment methods on buses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [51829/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy is likely aware that consideration of fares and ticketing systems forms an integral part of the BusConnects programme as provided for in the National Development Plan and which is being implemented by the National Transport Authority (NTA), in line with their statutory functions.
