534. Deputy Peter Burke asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the number of persons who have availed of the treatment benefit scheme since its extension to the self-employed, by county, in tabular form. [51818/18]

However, it should be noted that while the scheme was extended to cover self-employed contributors in March 2017, the information break down requested is only available from the beginning of 2018. The claims relating to the earlier period, March to October 2017 were processed on an old system, which did not support this reporting requirement.
