1048. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when payment will issue in respect of an invalidity pension in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [54123/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe lady referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 30 November 2017. Payment will issue to her nominated bank account on 24 January 2019. Arrears due from 30 November 2017 to 23 January 2019 (less any overlapping social welfare payment) will issue as soon as possible.
The lady in question was notified of this decision on 08 January 2019.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
