Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned has met with a Community Welfare Officer (CWO). Due to a change in their circumstances, they have made a new application for Basic Supplementary Welfare Allowance (SWA). The CWO has received a letter from Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) confirming the person concerned is not eligible for a student grant.
The CWO has advised the person concerned to reapply for Jobseekers Allowance (JA) and this claim will be processed when it is received.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
