930. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the status of progress to date of road projects (details supplied); if each is at planning, design or construction phase; the phases expected to be completed in 2019; the 2018 and 2019 allocations to each project; the spend to date on each project; the estimated cost of completing each project; and the provisional timetable for completion of each project in tabular form. As Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme. Under the Roads Acts 1993-2015, the planning, design and construction of individual national roads is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), in conjunction with the local authorities concerned.

Noting the above position, I have referred the question to TII for a direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within 10 working days.
