205. Deputy Darragh O'Brien asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the steps he has taken to address the ongoing situation faced by CIÉ salaried pensioners covered by the CIÉ 1951 superannuation scheme who have not received an increase since 2008; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Issues in relation to Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) pension schemes are primarily a matter for the trustees of the pension schemes, the CIÉ Group and their employees.  Therefore, I have referred the question to CIÉ for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
