513. Deputy Noel Rock asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if emergency funding will be made available to repair the crack in the surface at the throwing circle in a stadium (details supplied) to allow high-level athletes to train there rather than travel outside Dublin and miss college lectures; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Sport Ireland is the statutory body with responsibility for the operation of the stadium to which the Deputy's question refers. I have referred the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for direct reply in relation to this matter. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within ten days.
