181. Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for Health the number of persons on a waiting list for bariatric surgery at Galway University Hospital by length of time on the waiting list; the number on the equivalent waiting list at the same time one and two years ago, respectively; the number of surgeries carried out in each of the past three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In relation to the number of persons on a waiting list for bariatric surgery at Galway University Hospital by length of time on the waiting list; the number on the equivalent waiting list at the same time one and two years ago, respectively; the number of surgeries carried out in each of the past three years, as these queries concern service matters, I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly.
