305. Deputy Maurice Quinlivan asked the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation the parts of her budget she plans to cut for the savings required to fund the overrun in the national children’s hospital; the amount her Department will contribute in 2019; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I wish to confirm to the Deputy that the re-scheduling of capital monies to accommodate the additional costs associated with the National Children’s Hospital this year will not impact on my department’s Budget. Accordingly the capital allocation for use by my Department in 2019 is €620m as published in the 2019 Revised Estimates Volume.
