The European Investment Bank is providing a loan of €490 million to Ireland to part-support the construction of the new children’s hospital and associated outpatient and urgent care centres.

I am informed by the National Treasury Management Agency that €245m of this loan has been drawn down. A further loan is not being considered in respect of the new children's hospital project.
