571. Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government if the regulations for the housing aid for older people grant can be reviewed to allow for an application to be approved for persons (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10656/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe regulations governing the Housing Aid for Older People Scheme were reviewed and updated in 2014, to ensure the scheme's continued capability to support older people living in their own homes and communities with dignity and independence for as long as possible. If further details are provided directly to me in relation to the specific circumstances of the case referred to in the details supplied, I will consider further the necessity for a change to the current regulations.
