Amharc ar fhreagraThe National Paediatric Hospital Development Board undertook a competitive tender process for the construction of the new children's hospital. The contractor tendered their price for Phase A and Phase B works and the contract was awarded by the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board based on the prices received for both Phases A and B based on Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) criteria. The MEAT criterion enables the contracting authority to take account of criteria that reflect qualitative, technical and sustainable aspects of the tender submission as well as price when reaching an award decision.
