195. Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport when the oral hearings for the N6 Galway city ring road will take place; the timeframe for commencement and completion of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15619/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme. Under the Roads Acts 1993-2015, the planning, design and construction of individual national roads is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) in conjunction with the local authorities concerned. This includes the various processes and procedures required to progress the Scheme to construction stage.
