Ceisteanna (111)

Martin Kenny

Ceist:

111. Deputy Martin Kenny asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that general practitioner surgeries in counties Sligo and Leitrim have put up signs stating blood tests are taking one month to process due to staff shortages (details supplied) in Sligo University Hospital; the way in which he plans to address the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In relation to the particular query raised, as this is a service matter, I have asked the HSE to reply to the Deputy directly.
