Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when rent support will be offered in the case of a person (details supplied); if the matter can be urgently investigated with a view to conclusion; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised that the office with responsibility for the area in which the person concerned resides advises that no application for Rent Supplement has been received from the person concerned.
On receipt of the application a Deciding Officer will make and communicate a decision to the person concerned.
I trust this clarifies matter for the Deputy.
