Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of expressions of interest received from contractors by the closing date of 13 May 2019 for the DART expansion multidisciplinary consultancy team for the Maynooth line and city centre enhancements; when tenders will be invited for the work; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure in the Greater Dublin Area, including the Maynooth line enhancements and the overall DART Expansion programme.
