455. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if an urgent exceptional needs payment will be made in the case of a person (details supplied); if the case will be examined with a view to alleviation of the situation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAn application form issued to the person concerned on 16th April 2019 which was returned on the 15th May 2019. In a letter dated the 16th May 2019, the Community Welfare Officer (CWO) requested further information in order to allow for a decision on the application. The CWO made further contact by telephone with the person concerned on the 20th May 2019 to clarify the outstanding information needed but the information required has not been provided yet. A decision will be made by the CWO on receipt of this outstanding information.
