208. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of a companion pass application by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [24667/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by my Department that an application for a Free Travel Companion Pass from the person in question, has been reviewed again by a Deciding Officer. The person is still not eligible for the Free Travel Companion Pass. As part of this review, the Deputy Chief Medical Advisor re-assessed all the medical evidence available.
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
