138. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Finance the value of tax received in 2018 from carbon-related tax, that is, carbon tax, excise on petrol and diesel and so on; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26313/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by Revenue that the aggregate value of receipts collected from Carbon Tax, plus the Excise and VAT on petrol, auto diesel and other products that carry a carbon charge, is estimated at €3.5 billion for 2018.
