253. Deputy Peter Burke asked the Minister for Education and Skills if an emergency works appeal will be granted for a school (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29708/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe school to which the Deputy refers recently submitted an appeal to my Department requesting a review of its application for funding under the Emergency Works Grant Scheme to address issues with the school building. This review has been carried out and I am pleased to inform the Deputy that approval has been granted for the works. The school authority has been informed of this decision and the project has been devolved to it for delivery.
