1217. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Health his plans to make funding available to an organisation (details supplied) in County Laois which assists patients with lymphoedema; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32110/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am familiar with the services provided to those affected by cancer through this organisation. Indeed, I recently met with representatives of the organisation, together with representatives of the HSE Community Health Organisation for Laois/Offaly (CHO 8), to discuss their work, the funding provided through CHO 8 and their future plans.
The possibility of further funding through the Community Health Organisation will be considered in the context of the budget process for 2020.
