Deputy Michael Harty asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) who presented to accident and emergency department at University Hospital Limerick on 10 July 2019 with neurological symptoms was placed on a trolley in the department until 15 July 2019 before being admitted to a ward and did not have a MRI brain scan which was requested on 11 July 2019 and which was essential for their diagnosis and management; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
