Amharc ar fhreagraEstimated costs for planting 125,000 hectares of forestry with a mixture of 70% conifer and 30% native broadleaf to comply with the requirements in the current forestry programme is €567 million based on current 100% establishment costs and fencing grants.
Premiums for the 70% conifer and 30% broadleaf mixture would be almost €69m per year for 15 years based on the current premium duration.
