2691. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the correct level of rent support applicable to a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [31960/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraRent supplement is currently in payment in the case of the person concerned. Payment has been calculated based on the information provided by the person concerned regarding her means, including means from employment. Income assessed includes earnings based on a weekly average of €318.75 and additional income of €124 per week from working family payment (formally FIS). Rent supplement has been awarded at the rate of €688.56 per calendar month, which is the correct rate based on present income and family composition.
